When we got these in 2024, the batteries were rated for up to 10 years. Using them for two rental seasons, and going into our third, you’ll get another 5-7 summers out of these batteries.
At 750W of power, and 5* reviews from our renters, yes, these are the best bikes we’ve found so far for Bowen Island. Our new fleet will be the newer models of these bikes.

The racks are rated to 50lbs. There is an upgrade kit that is available for $220 that turns this bike into a doubling machine.
Not at the moment. We are selling used batteries with the used bikes, and don’t have spares. Ask us later in the summer time when we switch to the new bikes. We have new, un-used, batteries for sale if you want to purchase a second battery.
Yes, our maintenance shop is open for service, we’re turning out repairs all day long, and keep a special Envo supply for Envo specific repairs.
No. We’ve put them through the test, and they keep running. We do a full tune, and get them running back at 99% before they leave the shop. Beside the scratches, these bikes are ready for another 7 years.
The Envo Battery powering the D50 & ST50 is enclosed in a durable aluminum case for impact protection. This A-grade branded Li-Ion battery is built with LG Li-Ion cells specifically selected for optimal performance even in freezing temperatures. It includes an advanced Battery Management System (BMS) with cell balancing, which ensures consistent performance and extends both cyclic and calendar life. The BMS also provides robust protection against overcharging, overloading, and other electrical faults. The batteries are UL rated. UL rated batteries indicates that it has been tested and certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), a third-party safety science organization.
